Armchair is Beli for books. You can review and rank books in fiction and non-fiction lists. To get started, add books through the "Search" tab, or import your library from Goodreads. After ranking a few your list will look something like this:

Before ranking each book, you'll categorize it as "liked it", "it was ok", and "didn't like it" corresponding to the green, yellow, and red tags.

To find your next read, find friends' lists in the "Search" tab or curated lists from popular publications. Finally, once you've ranked 10 books in your fiction or non-fiction list, you'll receive personalized recommendations in the "Recs" tab.

More books are written each year than can be read in a lifetime. Armchair helps you be thoughtful in choosing your next read.

Privacy

Anyone can view profiles and curated lists. To create a list, you'll need to sign up via Google, Microsoft, or GitHub. Armchair is not given your email, profile picture, or account data. All profiles are public. The code is open source.
